Well, my first official Zentangle class was such a rewarding experience for me.  Four students, all engaged and enjoying their new found creativity!  The mosaic from our class is now posted in the gallery, be sure to take a look!

I’m so excited to see where this adventure leads me!  I’ve already got plans to offer another Basic Level 1 class in late January, and then in February March watch for Basic Level 2, a card-making class, a bookmark making class, and possibly even a meandering book making class!  Send me your ideas!

Happy New Year!  I'm not big on New Year's resolutions but this year I am stating to all that I will devote more time to my personal wellness.  A daily Zentangling practice, daily meditation (typically combined with my Zentangling) will be a part of my life in 2018.  Staying present, appreciating EVERY moment of every day, that is what I hope to achieve in 2018.  I wish you all much love and light and success on your journey.

Hope to see you at a class!

Last week I had the pleasure of offering "Zentangle® - a meditation" (an introduction to Zentangle®) at Silverheights Public School in Cambridge.  The intro session was offered to teachers and educational assistants at the school, and I was amazed at the incredible works of art that the teachers produced!  We complete a mono-tangle, in this case the tangle used was "Tripoli" and it offered a brief look into the healing power of Zentangle®.  It was very uplifting for me, especially when one of the teachers came to speak to me at the end of the session to let me know that she knew my son!  My soul was filled knowing that Chris' spirit lives on, and I wouldn't have that without Zentangle® and the opportunities it has created in my life.

I had the extreme pleasure of attending a weekend retreat for CZT's which was hosted by Tangle Art Studio in Elora.  We got to play with all sorts of different types of media, from pastels to watercolours.  The creative juices were definitely flowing!!!  We learned how to create our own hand-bound books (look for these in an upcoming class!) and just to spend time with so many talented CZT's® was amazing.  My own Zentangle® journey continues to be exciting and rewarding.  I will be teaching a class for staff at the University of Guelph on May 11th, and look forward to that new experience.

I've added some new photos in the Gallery, and the mosiac from my most recent Basic class is there as well.  Enjoy!  and hope to see YOU at a class very soon!

So excited to launch my new online store!  Now you can order your Zentangle® paper tiles in white, black and renaissance, as well as Zendala® tiles (round tiles!) and the ever-so-handy wallet - a great option to take your Zentangle® practice wherever you go!  The wallet comes with a special marker called an Identi-Pen so you can tangle the wallet itself!  You'll need to stock your wallet with your own Microns, pencil, tortillions and tiles.  I carry my tangled wallet with me in my purse so I have it wherever I am... waiting for a doctors appointment is probably my most common place to tangle!

Classes are now being offered through Continuing Education, Upper Grand District School Board.  This is exciting as I spread the word of the amazing benefits of a Zentangle practice in your life :).  I have now a group of lovely women with whom we meet once a month just to tangle and talk, it fill my soul every month when I get to share my passion with my friends.  And I am constantly trying to reach others - will be working with a Mental Health group in May and continue working with staff and students at the University of Guelph.  Been working on Zendala tiles lately, check out a couple of the new pictures in the Gallery.  Keep on tangling!!!
